Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a full-time licensed psychotherapist to join our Kingsport Area Behavioral Health Practice. You will provide clinical assessments, diagnoses and individual psychotherapy for older adults in post-acute care settings, with no nights or weekends and flexible scheduling.

The role supports collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across SNF/LTC/ALF/IRF, remote documentation, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k, HSA, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Tennessee licensed as LPC or LMFT.
• LCSW not considered at this time.
• Eligible for independent practice and billing.
• Six months experience as a psychotherapist.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, and individual psychotherapy.
• Treat depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorder, grief and loss and life transitions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
• Onsite patient care with remote documentation; no nights or weekends.
• Coverage area includes Kingsport, Bristol, Rogersville, and Church Hill, Tennessee.

Role Overview

• Full-time (5 days per week) within Monday - Friday
• Enjoy stability, support, and flexibility with onsite patient care and remote documentation
