Job summary

CareWell Health in New Jersey seeks a qualified behavioral health clinician to provide psychosocial assessments and individual and group psychotherapy for adults in an outpatient setting, with referrals as treatment plans progress.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, documentation, supervision, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team; requires MSW and LSW/LPC/LAC eligibility, with 2 years of behavioral health experience. Some telehealth may be provided.

Qualifications

• Master's in social work preferred and licensure as LSW/LPC/LAC eligible.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in behavioral health, including internship.
• Licensed social worker or licensed clinical social worker pending board approval considered.

Responsibilities

• Create patient-centered treatment plans with patient/family input.

Job description

Job Summary

Provides psychosocial assessments, individual, and group psychotherapy on assigned patients. Offers family support and education. Demonstrates ability to provide psychotherapy services in an outpatient setting and ability to refer to ongoing services upon completion of treatment plan goals.

Essential Functions

• Conducts biopsychosocial assessments as well as evidence-based tools as required for information gathering and diagnosis.
• Displays theoretical knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders.
• Provides individual psychotherapy and psychoeducational group therapy for adult patients in an outpatient setting.
• Provide clinically appropriate treatment based on mental health assessments and treatment plans.
• Knows the symptoms of abuse and identifies victims to provide appropriate counsel and/or referrals.
• Participates in and attends multi-disciplinary treatment team and staff meetings as scheduled.
• Provides information gathered from patient during group or individual therapy.
• Discusses patient’s level of functioning, symptoms and medication.
• Advocates for appropriate discharge for patients.
• Create individualized, patient centered, treatment plan in conjunction with the patient, family members and or community partners.
• Documents all interactions with patients in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Provides crisis and behavioral intervention.
• Engages in weekly clinical supervision.
• Participate in staff development opportunities to enhance professional growth, especially to maintain license, certification, or identified program performance skills.

CareWell Health provides a salary/hourly rate range for all open positions to comply with New Jersey Law. When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity). The salary range does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation which can be discussed in detail with your talent acquisition specialist.

The salary/hourly rate range for this position is: $41.00 to $44.00
