Job summary

Communicare seeks an individual to manage the Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Program in the Adult Services division. Plan and organize the PSR program to meet DMH, Medicaid, and Communicare standards under supervision by the Office Supervisor and Clinical Director.

Implement evidence-based curricula, recruit and orient clients, manage documentation and billing, arrange transportation and drive the van as needed, maintain supplies, provide crisis intervention, coordinate with the treatment

Qualifications

• Pass a Communicare background check and drug screen.
• Ability to perform the responsibilities of the position.
• CPR certification is required.
• CPI completion within 30 days of employment.
• Experience in the mental health field is preferred.
• Mississippi driver’s license and insurable driving record maintained.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize the PSR Program per DMH, Medicaid, and Communicare standards under supervision.
• Implement evidence-based curricula that constitute the PSR program.
• Recruit, screen, and orient new clients for the PSR program per supervision.
• Complete and submit client documentation and billing information per policies.
• Organize transportation for clients and plan efficient routes.
• Drive the van as needed to transport clients.
• Keep program materials and supplies available for program functioning.
• Provide crisis intervention and other clinical services as needed.
• Coordinate with the treatment team to arrange services per treatment plans.
• Supervise PSR staff, including the van driver and any volunteers or students.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Supervisor or Clinical Director.
