Job summary

SKS Consulting Group seeks a doctoral-level psychologist or quantitative scientist to own assessment science initiatives, including psychometrics, scale development, and validation. You will build data workflows, dashboards, and recurring insights for leaders and internal consultants.

Focus areas include reliability analyses, item response theory, and communicating complex results to both technical and nontechnical audiences, while maintaining rigorous data governance and documentation.

Qualifications

• PhD in I/O Psychology, Psychometrics, Data Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• Experience with classical test theory and item response theory approaches to scale validation.
• Experience applying advanced statistics to real-world business questions.
• Proficiency in R or Python.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and experience cleaning, integrating, and quality-checking large complex datasets.
• Ability to tell a clear story through data visualization.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and collaborating with stakeholders who have varied priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, testing, and refinement of assessment tools with reliability and validity analyses.
• Build clean, reliable datasets and workflows powering analytics and dashboards.
• Turn assessment, behavioral, and organizational data into actionable insights for leaders.
• Translate technical findings into clear narratives for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Maintain documentation and promote responsible data practices.
