Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) and Indiana University Health (IU Health) are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Faculty Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our team at Shepherd Community Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. This outpatient community-based position involves providing evaluations and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families at IUHP Psychiatry East Washington. The psychologist will also have opportunities for education and research. This role, which carries an appointment at the Assistant Professor (Clinical Track) level at Indiana University School of Medicine, is a partnership between IUSM, IU Health, and the Shepherd Community Center, supporting underprivileged families in Indianapolis.

Key Responsibilities

• Assessment and diagnosis with children, adolescents, and families
• Providing evidence-based psychological therapies to children, adolescents, and families
• Collaborating with medical and behavioral health professionals to create integrated care plans
• Monitoring and evaluating patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and outcomes

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution
• Licensed or eligible for licensure and HSPP in Indiana
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
