Job summary

CSU Stanislaus is seeking a Student Assistant under Federal Work Study to support the Psychology & Child Development department on campus in Turlock. Duties include greeting visitors, answering calls, operating office equipment, and organizing files.

The role requires enrollment in at least six units and current Financial Aid eligibility; positions are temporary, part-time, and on-site with potential for future reappointment based on needs.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of six units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist faculty, students and community guests.
• Support front desk in answering calls and refer visitors to appropriate person.
• Operate common office equipment (copy machine, fax, scanner).
• Maintain department bulletin boards and organize materials.
• Data entry, file maintenance and creating new student files.
• Proctor make-up exams and handle confidential files/exams.
• Assist with event setup and cleanup for department activities.
• Run department errands across campus and distribute mail.
• Assist Department Administrative Coordinators with assigned tasks.
