Job summary

The Special Commitment Center seeks a Psychology Associate to join its dedicated team. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based treatment, leading groups, and providing individualized interventions to residents within the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services system.

The ideal candidate has a master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, experience with treating individuals with a history of sexual offending, and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited school or department of psychology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead evidence-based treatment groups.
• Provide individualized 1:1 interventions to selected clients.
• Attend, lead, and contribute to resident treatment team meetings, conferences, and debriefings.
• Complete electronic documentation of sessions and reports.
• Develop case conceptualizations for treatment planning.
• Participate in depositions and testify as needed.
• Complete Law Enforcement Notifications and risk assessments.
• Present findings to End of Sentence Review Committee.
