Job summary

The Special Commitment Center within the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services is seeking a Psychology Associate to join a dedicated team focused on evidence-based treatment that enhances public safety.

You will lead group interventions and provide individualized 1:1 care, participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, and handle thorough documentation to support case planning and accountability.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited program.
• Experience delivering evidence-based treatment in clinical settings.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and follow policy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead evidence-based treatment groups.
• Provide individualized 1:1 interventions to selected clients.
• Attend and contribute to resident treatment team meetings and conferences.
• Complete electronic documentation of sessions and reports.
• Develop case conceptualizations for treatment planning.
• Participate in depositions and testify as needed.
• Complete law enforcement notifications and risk assessments.
• Present findings to End of Sentence Review Committee.
