Job summary

Einstein in New York seeks a research assistant to support neuropsychological assessments, data collection, and preliminary analyses in coordination with the statistical team. You will assist in preparing grant-related IRB documentation and literature reviews, with potential off-campus site visits.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field and proficiency with Excel; SPSS knowledge is preferred for data analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Coursework in Psychology preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and scores neuropsychological assessments in compliance with study protocols.
• Conducts participant interviews using standardized techniques to ensure accurate data collection.
• Review, and audit data for accuracy; follow up with participants as needed to resolve discrepancies.
• Works with statistical team to perform analyses.
• Conducts literature reviews to support research activities and manuscript development.
• Manages research databases using Excel, and other statistical or data management programs.
• Organizes and prepares grant-related documentation for IRB submissions. May write reports to present at meeting.
• Demonstrates willingness to learn phlebotomy techniques necessary to fulfill project needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned; and,
• May require off-campus site visits.

About Us

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rates for this are listed below. This rate is based on the 1199 bargaining unit contract.
