Job summary

Belfer Educational Center is seeking a Psychology Assistant I in the Bronx to assist with administering and scoring neuropsychological tests, data collection, and preliminary analyses.

You will collaborate with the PI team, manage databases, and support grant-related IRB submissions while learning phlebotomy techniques for project needs. A bachelor’s degree (psychology preferred) is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Psychology coursework preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field preferred.
• Proficient in Excel; SPSS knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and scores neuropsychological assessments in compliance with study protocols.
• Conducts participant interviews using standardized techniques to ensure accurate data collection.
• Review, and audit data for accuracy; follow up with participants as needed to resolve discrepancies.
• Works with statistical team to perform analyses.
• Conducts literature reviews to support research activities and manuscript development.
• Manages research databases using Excel, and other statistical or data management programs.
• Organizes and prepares grant-related documentation for IRB submissions. May write reports to present at meetings.
• Demonstrates willingness to learn phlebotomy techniques necessary to fulfill project needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned; and,
• May require off-campus site visits.
