May include work during the day, evening, or weekends. Working hours as needed during the academic year. Adjunct teaching responsibilities vary as needed by the institution and shall include such combinations of on and off-campus, day, evening, distance learning, and weekend classes. Individuals hired to teach courses in an adjunct capacity may only teach a total of 12 workload credits in each term (fall and spring) and 8 workload credits in the summer term.

Paul D. Camp Community College is a small 2-year college in Southeast Virginia. Campuses are located in Franklin and Suffolk. There also is a centre in Smithfield. The college offers associate degrees, certificates, and career studies certificates In transfer and career/technical programs; credit and non-credit workforce services and training for businesses and industries; special interest classes for the community; and summer classes for youth through the Regional Workforce Development Centre. A dual enrolment program for high school students, online courses, and developmental studies classes is available at the college as well.
