Job summary

The University of Georgia in Athens is seeking a Psychologist/Assistant Director of Clinical Training to lead CAPS training programs, including the APA-accredited internship and practicum experiences. You will oversee supervision of trainees and provide direct clinical services to students.

Reporting to the Sr. Associate Director, you will guide program development, ensure compliance with Joint Commission guidelines, engage in multidisciplinary teams, and advance innovative training initiatives

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Psychology from an APA accredited program and completion of an APA accredited internship (or equivalent).
• Licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Georgia by the date of first employment.
• Four years of experience in evaluation and treatment of individuals whose age and psychological development are like those of our population.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee all aspects of training, including APA accredited doctoral internship and practicum programs; ensure accreditation standards.
• Provide direct clinical services to students and supervise trainees at various training levels.
• Collaborate with CAPS leadership to monitor operations, supervision quality, and staff development.
