Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical supervision to behavioral health supervisors.
• Mentor and train staff in clinical skills, therapeutic techniques, and effective interventions.
• Collaborate with administrative and clinical teams to develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based programming for clients in residential treatment.
• Monitor the effectiveness of treatment programs and make adjustments as needed to enhance outcomes.
• Facilitate communication among team members to promote a cohesive and collaborative working environment.
• Participate in the assessment and treatment of clients as needed.
• Psychological testing and evaluation.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate in Psychology with a psychologist license by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. Required clinical internship plus one year experience as a licensed psychologist with management experience required.

Preferred Qualifications: Subject matter experience preferred.

Other: Proof of licensure required upon acceptance of a job offer. Must submit to a security background check. Applicants accepting a job offer must pass the pre-employment medical exam and a drug test. Once employed, all incumbents must successfully complete the fully paid Nebraska Department of Correctional Services pre-service training program.
