Overview

As a psychologist, you will diagnose and treat mental health conditions in collaboration with other mental health team members when needed. Your focus will be on diagnosing and treating mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders to improve patients' psychological well-being. You will apply advanced diagnostic methods and evidence-based interventions to a broad spectrum of patient issues.

Responsibilities

  • Make decisions and solve problems using logic, exploring alternatives and proposing solutions.
  • Provide outstanding customer service with tact and professionalism.

  • Utilize proven therapy and counseling techniques.
  • Exercise patience with challenging or resistant patients.
  • Relate to patients effectively to diagnose and treat issues.

Qualifications

Education/Credentials: Doctorate Degree in Psychology (PhD, PsyD, EdD) from an accredited institution. Preferably, completion of an APA-Approved Clinical Psychology internship, preferably in a medical setting.
