As part of our team, you'll work with other experienced clinicians in a space that promotes continuous learning and high standards. Our work is deeply rooted in a commitment to follow-up care, building relationships with external providers, and advocating for our students in school meetings.

As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at DEC, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations for children and adolescents (ages 5-21).
  • Providing diagnostic conclusions and offering intervention recommendations to families.
  • Attending school meetings and collaborating with school staff to help understand and guide school services.
  • Consulting with other providers, including psychiatrists, to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Documenting comprehensive evaluation reports that clearly convey findings and next steps for families and schools.
Qualifications

To join our team, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Doctorate in clinical or school psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited program.
  • APA-accredited internship is ideal.
  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Illinois.
  • Post-graduate experience in neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations for children and adolescents.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to empathize with clients and their families.
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive evaluation reports.
  • Experience attending school meetings and collaborating with school staff is preferred.
Position Details
  • Part-time, 20 hours per week with flexibility.
  • Benefits-eligible.

Interested candidates should submit their curriculum vitae, a cover letter, and a de-identified, comprehensive evaluation report as a writing sample. We look forward to learning more about your experience and how you can contribute to our growing team.
