Job summary

Apogee Behavioral Medicine is seeking a licensed psychologist (PsyD) to join a clinician-led team with over 40 years of combined experience in behavioral health. The role involves comprehensive psychological evaluations and evidence-based psychotherapy within an interdisciplinary care team across the southeast, with opportunities for outpatient, remote, and hybrid schedules.

Qualifications

• Doctoral PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Unrestricted license to practice in the state of care delivery.
• Experience in psychotherapy required; testing and report writing preferred.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based treatment models.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and participate in continuous professional development.
• Proficiency using EHR and other technology platforms for care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments.
• Deliver individual and/or group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team including psychiatrists, APPs, and therapists.
• Participate in new provider orientation and clinical team meetings.
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation in the EHR system.
• Refer patients internally for psychiatric consultation, medication management, or other services as needed.
• Adhere to standards of care and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license to practice in the state of care delivery
• Experience in psychotherapy required; experience with psychological testing and report writing preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based treatment models. Ability to conceptualize treatment modalities and determine appropriate placement within the continuum of care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
