The Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking a Psychological Services Supervisor at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Fayette who is ready to lead with confidence and purpose. This position oversees the delivery of psychological services and guides staff in providing quality mental health care within the facility. As a Psychological Services Supervisor, DOC, you will perform the following duties:

• Service Oversight: Direct and monitor the delivery of psychological services to ensure consistent, high-quality care across the institution
• Staff Guidance: Offer clear direction and constructive feedback to Psychological Services Specialists, addressing clinical or performance needs with professionalism
• Evaluation Management: Coordinate, track, and assign required psychological evaluations and assessments in collaboration with facility leadership
• Program Coordination: Maintain records of treatment groups and ensure staff provide mental health services that match patient needs
• Administrative Duties: Manage leave approvals, conduct performance evaluations, and take appropriate disciplinary action when necessary

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as a Psychological Services Specialist, DOC (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Two years of professional experience in the field of psychology and a master's degree in psychology or a closely related field that includes fifteen graduate level credits in psychology or counseling.

Other Requirements:

• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
