Simple Solutions Psychotherapy is seeking a licensed-style Psychological Associate to provide individual, group, couple, and family psychotherapy under supervision in California. You will administer assessments, conduct intakes, and document progress per BOP standards.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, DSM-5-TR criteria, and collaboration with supervisors and staff to ensure high-quality mental health services. Office-based with travel to contracted sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology or Master’s with BOP eligibility.
• Must hold active Psychological Associate registration with California BOP.
• 1–2 years of experience preferred in individual, couple, or family therapy.
• Experience with SOAP notes, DSM-5-TR; ethical compliance.
• Must maintain professional liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, couple, and family psychotherapy under supervision.
• Administer and interpret psychological tests under supervision.
• Conduct clinical intakes and present DSM-5-TR diagnoses.
• Develop treatment plans and document progress.
• Draft SOAP notes within 24–48 hours.
• Facilitate groups at various contracted locations.
• Maintain accurate clinical records.
