Job Summary:
The Licensed Clinical Supervisor manages pre-doctoral psychology assistants, practicum students, and associates. Is responsible for checking all documentation, communicating any corrections needed, and providing resources to the PsyD assistants/students/associates, will be responsible for developing adequate training (i.e. Law & Ethics, Clinical Diagnosing, various therapeutic modalities, etc.) for supervisees as needed as well as providing oversight of any assessments that are administered. Working conditions are normal office environment with the use of computers, laptops, telephones, copiers, and printers. May sit for up to 8 hours per day.
Accountabilities:
- Gain a thorough understanding of the business goals and objectives of the organization, including gaining the organization’s Group Practice, Treatment Focus, and Patient Promise.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the local, state, and federal healthcare guidelines.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the scope of work for respective behavioral science disciplines (i.e., PsyD students/assistants/associates).
- Aim to maximize the development of client potential and the fulfillment of client needs, through a commitment to the organization’s Group Practice, Treatment Focus, and Patient Promise.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Ability to supervise PsyD students/assistants/associates, maintain documentation, and supervise work produced by supervisees.
- Provides individual and group clinical supervision to PsyD students/assistants/associates, per Simple Solutions Psychotherapy requirements.
- Provides oral and written feedback consistent with practicum program requirements.
- Reports to the CEO and/or Program Director.
- Ensures the PsyD student/assistants/associates client caseload files are up to par with the organization’s expectations.
- Provides the supervisee with the information needed to correct/revise documentation following the expectations of the organization.
- Holds communication with the PsyD student/associates to ensure all documentation is completed in expected time frames (notes 24 hours and revisions/corrections 48 hours).
- Administers, interprets, and supervises appropriately chosen psychometric instruments and screenings (including psycho-educational, objective, and projective measures), writes reports, and provides recommendations and feedback to clients, families, and other clinicians (if applicable).
- Reviews all SOAP notes, treatment plans, and mental status examinations submitted for each client within 72 hours of having received them.
- Will communicate with supervisees about corrections/revisions that are needed.
- Will ensure all corrections have been signed no later than 48 hours of them being returned.
- Will ensure all supervisees are adhering to the rules of submitting documentation within 24 hours after the session, and 48 hours after corrections/revisions have been sent.
- Maintains compliance with ethical codes and standards.

Education and Experience:
- Current California Licensure Marriage Family Therapy or equivalent (required)
- 1-2 years of clinical supervision experience (preferred)
- Registered as a clinical supervisor
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
