Job summary

Waterfall Community Health Center in Coos Bay, Oregon, seeks a Psychiatry Clinical Program Manager to provide clinical leadership and oversight of the Behavioral Health Program within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).

The role entails 50% direct patient care and 50% leadership, supervision, and program development, collaborating with primary care and care coordination teams to deliver integrated, trauma-informed, patient-centered psychiatry services.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the State of Oregon as a PMHNP-BC or physician (MD/DO) with prescriptive privileges.
• Current Oregon medical license in good standing; board-certified in psychiatry or eligible for certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct outpatient psychiatry services (assessment, therapy, medications)
• Maintain clinical caseload and documentation standards
• Oversee trauma‑informed care delivery and quality control
• Develop and implement policies with BH Admin and staff
• Monitor referrals, scheduling, and access to care
• Support staff onboarding, licensure, and continuing education
• Ensure integration of psychiatric care with primary care teams
• Complete timely documentation and coding for services
• Support strategic planning for Psychiatry Programs
