Job summary
The Rowan-Virtua Regional Integrated Special Needs (RISN) Center seeks a compassionate Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team providing care to individuals with complex intellectual, developmental, physical, and behavioral health needs at our Sewell, NJ location.
You will deliver direct patient care, collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers and researchers, participate in teaching and rotating on-call duties while contributing to value-based care and
Qualifications
- Experience with patients with intellectual/physical disabilities and complex medical needs.
- Advanced nursing degree with psychiatric medicine concentration.
- CDS license.
- DEA license.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care focused on quality and value-based care.
- Develop longitudinal health relationships for patients with complex conditions.
- Prescribe or recommend psychiatric treatments and consult with staff.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in teaching and research.
- Maintain timely patient records.
