This is a full-time, day-shift position with no weekends or holidays required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program required.
• Licensure as an LPN or completion of a MA Apprenticeship Program or Employee Partner MA Program recommended.
• CCMA certification as a UWH employee or acceptance into MA Apprenticeship Accelerated program encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vitals, urine drug screens, refills, phone calls, MyChart encounters, and prior authorizations.
• Provide patient education and promote healthy lifestyles and wellness.
• Support psychiatric care across outpatient and inpatient settings with a focus on quality patient care.
