Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Clinical Manager for the Psychiatry Float Pool (PSRU) at the College Hill Campus. The role oversees a flexible, psychiatry-focused nursing team that supports inpatient and residential behavioral health programs.

You will partner with operations and clinical leaders to ensure safe staffing, workforce readiness, and high‑quality patient care while promoting employee engagement and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the Psychiatry Float Pool (PSRU) team supporting inpatient and residential behavioral health programs.
• Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, psychological safety, and continuous learning.
• Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop staff to support workforce stability and professional growth.
• Collaborate with Psychiatry Operations, Nursing Leadership, Clinical Directors, Educators, and other stakeholders to support patient care delivery.
• Promote workforce flexibility through cross-training, competency development, and ongoing professional development.
• Integrate IPM into daily operations and leadership practices.
• Oversee daily staffing operations, deployment, and resource allocation across supported behavioral health areas.
• Support onboarding and orientation of new float pool team members.
