Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a psychologist to join the acute inpatient psychiatry team. The role includes overseeing behavioral interventions across pediatric units and supervising master’s level Behavioral Health Consultants.

The candidate will train direct-care staff in behavioral strategies, and supervise psychology residents. Doctoral training in clinical or school psychology is required, with Ohio licensure or eligibility and PsyPACT credentials.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in clinical or school psychology (APA-accredited).
• Licensed or license-eligible in Ohio and through PsyPACT.
• Experience in acute inpatient psychiatry, behavioral consultation, and/or behavioral intervention development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee individualized behavioral interventions across child/adolescent units.
• Supervise a team of master’s level Behavioral Health Consultants.
• Train and develop direct-care staff competence in implementing behavioral strategies across the inpatient system.
• Supervise residents in psychology.
