Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking an Associate Director, Psychiatry for the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx. The role includes clinical leadership, teaching, and program oversight within a busy psychiatric emergency service.

Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry and an active NY State medical license are required, with 2–3 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of attending psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric PA staff, residents, medical students, and psychology interns.
• Oversee the delivery of high quality, evidence-based care.
• Collaborate with inpatient and ambulatory programs and with the Emergency Medicine Department.
• Provide leadership for patient safety and clinical effectiveness.
• Lead undergraduate medical education including teaching of medical students and residents.
• Manage incident reviews and participate in departmental IRC meetings.
• Review and revise guidelines to meet OMH regulations.
• Provide leadership for all tours.
