Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is expanding with an Associate Director, Psychiatry - CPEP at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi. The role entails direct supervision of psychiatrists and staff, leadership in education and patient safety, and collaboration with inpatient, ambulatory, and Emergency Medicine teams.

The position requires board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry, an active NY license, and 2–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry.
• Active NY State medical license.
• 2-3 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of attending psychiatrists, psychologists and psychiatric PA staff, residents, medical students, psychology interns.
• Oversee the delivery of high quality, evidence-based care.
• Collaborate with inpatient and ambulatory programs as well as the Emergency Medicine Department.
• Provide leadership in patient safety and clinical effectiveness.
• Lead in undergraduate medical education and residency teaching.
• Participate in incident reviews and IRC meetings.
• Review and revise guidelines to meet OMH regulations.
• Provide leadership for all tours.
