NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi is seeking an Associate Director of Psychiatry for the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP). The role reports to the Medical Director and includes overseeing clinical care, supervising staff, and collaborating with inpatient and ambulatory services.

The position offers a competitive salary (base $296,000) and comprehensive benefits, with potential for additional compensation and loan forgiveness.

Qualifikationen

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Active New York State Medical License.
• 2-3 years of experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Direct supervision of attending psychiatrists, psychologists and psychiatric PA staff, residents, medical students, psychology interns.
• Oversee the delivery of high quality, evidence-based care.
• Directly work with leaders in inpatient and ambulatory programs and Emergency Medicine.
• Assume an important role in Patient Safety and Clinical Effectiveness.
• Provide leadership in undergraduate medical education including teaching of medical students and residents.
• Incident review management and participation in IRC meetings.
• Review/revise guidelines for standards of care to meet OMH regulations.
• Provide leadership for all tours.
