Job summary

PAGNY, affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals, seeks an Associate Director for the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) at North Central Bronx. The role focuses on clinical leadership, teaching, and advancing evidence-based psychiatric care in a high-volume urban hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Active New York State Medical License.
• 2-3 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical leadership and teaching within the CPEP program.
• Direct supervision of attending psychiatrists, psychologists, PA staff, residents, students, and interns.
• Ensure high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care across inpatient and emergency services.
• Collaborate with inpatient, ambulatory, and Emergency Medicine leaders to improve patient safety and clinical effectiveness.
• Provide leadership in undergraduate medical education and residency training; participate in clinical and didactic teaching.
