Adult Psychiatrist or Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist - Inpatient Position

Opportunity for Adult or Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in the beautiful northeastern tier of New York State on the Canadian border. Close to the 1000 Islands, Lake Placid, and the Adirondack Mountains.

Requirement: B/e B/c in Psychiatry

Employment: Employee of Medical Center (MC)

1. Be/Bc Psychiatrist to work with established inpatient unit and outpatient clinic teams, and provide hospital consults.
2. Conduct holistic psychiatric evaluations for diagnosis and management of acute and chronic mental health illnesses, including pharmacological interventions, psycho-education, and crisis management.
3. Conduct follow-up appointments supporting the treatment plan.
4. Coordinate and collaborate with other psychiatrists; review assessments, treatment plans, and provide recommendations and referrals.
5. Day shift with shared on-call duties, including night and day shifts, at least one weekend per month.
