The Child/Adolescent Psychiatry Role

Location: Bronx in-patient at 1300 Waters Place. An intermediate level care facility. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to care for patients aged 6-18 years. Responsibilities include admissions, psychopharmacology, legal status, family contact, documentation, and treatment planning. Patients may be on multiple wards. Coordinate care with the pediatrics team to deliver state-of-the-art care for children and adolescents.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time - Inpatient
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (8 AM - 4:30 PM), 40 hours per week
• Caseload: Up to 15 patients
• Bid Process: Bid due date: 05/19/2025 at 3 PM EST

Requirements

• NY state license; active and unrestricted
• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Enrolled with NY Medicaid
