Qualifications

• Certificate to practice medicine in Ohio.
• Residency in psychiatry completed or in progress.
• Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, examinations, and analyses to diagnose and treat patients, and prescribe necessary medications.
• Lead Treatment Team meetings, developing Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs) for assigned patients.
• Administer and monitor psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatments; provide individual and group therapy.
• Coordinate with external psychiatrists and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transition to community-based care.
• Maintain thorough documentation to comply with Joint Commission, Medicare/Medicaid, DBH, and hospital policies.
• Guide staff on matters related to psychiatric care of patients.
