Job summary

Northwest Ohio Behavioral Healthcare in Toledo, Ohio seeks a psychiatrist to deliver recovery-focused patient care within a state-supported system. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, lead treatment teams, and provide both pharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatments while coordinating with colleagues to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and board eligibility in psychiatry.
• Ability to provide comprehensive psychiatric care and leadership in clinical settings.
• Knowledge of compliance standards and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and prescribe medications.
• Lead Treatment Team meetings and develop Individual Treatment Plans.
• Provide psychopharmacological and psychotherapy treatments with patient care coordination.
• Coordinate with external psychiatrists and healthcare providers for seamless transitions to community care.
• Maintain thorough documentation in line with Joint Commission, Medicare/Medicaid, DBH policies.
