Qualifikationen

• Certificate to practice medicine and completion of psychiatry residency.
• Board-eligibility or board-certification in psychiatry.
• 5+ years of medical practice focused on psychiatry.
• Ability to collaborate with medical colleagues and meet patient needs.

Aufgaben

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, examinations and analyses to diagnose and treat patients, and prescribe necessary medications.
• Lead Treatment Team meetings and develop Individual Treatment Plans for assigned patients.
• Administer psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatments; provide individual and group therapy.
• Coordinate with external psychiatrists and providers to ensure seamless care during transitions to community settings.
• Maintain thorough documentation to standards set by TJC, Medicare/Medicaid, and DBH policies.
• Guide professional, paraprofessional, nursing and direct care staff on psychiatric care matters.
