KLA Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Psychiatrist for outpatient clinical leadership in East Chicago, IN.

The role focuses on comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy integrated with medical care across teams to improve patient outcomes. Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) with a plan for certification within a defined timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic interviews and mental status examinations, to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, evaluating efficacy and side effects to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize psychotherapeutic methods in conjunction with pharmacological treatments to manage acute and chronic mental health conditions.
• Partner with primary care, social work, and nursing teams to provide integrated behavioral health support across clinical settings.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and participate in clinical quality reviews to enhance patient safety and care standards.
