Ashton North LLC is seeking a Psychiatrist for outpatient care in East Chicago, IN. The role offers a full-time, permanent schedule with Monday–Friday hours and 1:8 or better weekend/holiday rounding, along with relocation assistance.

The physician will conduct comprehensive evaluations, prescribe and monitor medications, provide psychotherapy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining robust EHR and quality processes.

Formación

• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic interviews and mental status examinations, to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, evaluating efficacy and side effects to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize psychotherapeutic methods in conjunction with pharmacological treatments to manage acute and chronic mental health conditions.
• Partner with primary care, social work, and nursing teams to provide integrated behavioral health support across clinical settings.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EHR) and participate in clinical quality reviews to enhance patient safety and care standards.
