Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in psychiatry.
• Active California medical license.
• DEA registration or eligibility required.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a varied outpatient population.
• Willingness to relocate to Crescent City, CA for on-site practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric treatment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with primary care and behavioral health providers.
• Accurate and timely documentation.
• Provide evidence-based psychiatric treatment appropriate to patient needs.
• Help expand access to psychiatric services for a rural and underserved population.
