Job summary

Chrysalis Psychiatry, an expanding outpatient mental health practice in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our team. The role involves comprehensive care, including medication management, psychotherapy, and cutting-edge therapies such as TMS and Ketamine.

The ideal candidate will hold an MD or DO with board certification, have an NM license, and be prepared to lead a clinical team. On-site work is required, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in psychiatry.
• Valid medical license to practice in New Mexico.
• Experience providing clinical supervision to mid-level practitioners is preferred.
• Must maintain 32 clinical hours per week.
• Onsite in Albuquerque, NM; no remote option.
• TMS experience is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medication management and psychotherapy.
• Administer TMS motor thresholds and monitor patient progress.
• Provide clinical supervision and oversight to mid-level practitioners.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure quality of care and professional development.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records; billing must match time scheduled with patients.
