Job summary

Software Placement Group, SPG is seeking a General Psychiatrist to join its inpatient and PHP team in Fargo, ND. The physician will manage a diverse caseload in acute and partial hospitalization settings for adults and adolescents.

The role requires on-site work, full-time hours, and participation in a call rotation, with MGMA-aligned compensation and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD credentials as a Psychiatrist.
• Ability to work on-site, Full Time, W2 status.
• Availability Mon-Fri with call rotation participation.
• No VISA Candidates accepted.
• 2027 Residents will not be accepted from firms.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 14-22 per day across adult and adolescent patients.
• Provide care in In-Patient and PHP settings.
• For In-Patient duties: handle new admissions, follow-ups, med checks, discharges, and participate in treatment team meetings.
• For PHP/IOP duties: see adult and/or child/adolescent patients, plus any outpatient patients belonging to PMHNPs whose insurance requires MD evaluation.
• Participate in call rotation, including 2 weekends per quarter.

Overview

An established behavioral health provider is seeking a General Psychiatrist to join its inpatient and partial hospitalization program (PHP) team in Fargo, North Dakota. This is a critical clinical role serving both adult and adolescent patients across inpatient and outpatient-adjacent settings.

What you'll do
