Job summary

Medicorp, Inc. is seeking a Psychiatrist (MD) for North Dakota to provide outpatient care with potential inpatient/ED consults.

The role supports a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with no evenings or weekends, and involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team across various settings. The physician will conduct evaluations, manage psychopharmacology, and contribute to integrated mental health services for patients across the lifespan.

Qualifications

• MD degree required.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry required.
• ABPP and child/adolescent certifications preferred but not required.
• Must complete facility credentialing before start.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health screenings and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
• Prescribe, monitor, manage, and evaluate psychopharmacological medications.
• Provide integrated mental health services within general health settings.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, social workers, and physician assistants.
• Refer patients and seek consultations with other providers for complex or comorbid conditions.
• Utilize advanced assessment and clinical decision-making to manage patient care independently and collaboratively.

• Position: Psychiatrist (MD)
• Location: North Dakota
• Schedule: Full-time or part-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no evenings or weekends)
• Practice Type: Primarily outpatient with potential rotating schedule for inpatient and ED consults
• Patient Population: Individuals across the lifespan; pediatric experience and competence preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct health screenings and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
• Prescribe, monitor, manage, and evaluate psychopharmacological medications
• Provide integrated mental health services within general health settings
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, social workers, and physician assistants
• Refer patients and seek consultations with other providers and medical specialties as needed for complex or comorbid conditions
• Utilize advanced health assessment and clinical decision-making skills to manage patient care independently and collaboratively

Compensation:

• Base salary of $335,000
• Eligibility for additional compensation via bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based models
