Job summary

Cornell Scott–Hill Health Center is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric consultation across Fairfield CT sites. You will review treatment plans, perform evaluations, and supervise staff while ensuring high-quality care for the client population.

The role requires CT licensure, Board certification or eligibility, CPR, and a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Travel within Connecticut is required.

Qualifications

• MD licensed in Connecticut to provide psychiatric services, board certified or eligible.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of two years' experience with the specified population.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric consultation across assigned BHD site(s).
• Review and model standards of practice and quality of care.
• Evaluate treatment plans and provide appropriate care.
• Perform evaluations, crisis interventions, therapy, and medication management as needed.
• Maintain documentation and meet productivity standards.
• Supervise APRN/clinical staff as directed.
