Cape Fox Concentric Methods LLC is seeking a Psychiatric Technician to support the Navy Facility at Camp Pendleton, California. The tech will provide inpatient and outpatient care in the Acute Psychiatric and Intermediate Unit, with duties spanning assessments, counseling, and patient care.

The position pays a total hourly rate of $38.43 for up to 40 hours weekly, including base $33.34 and $5.09 H&W per hour; benefits and 401K are offered. Travel 0-10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Psychiatric Technician Program; or completion of an equivalent education and experience that meets AAPT requirements.
• One year of experience after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct or assist in treatment and rehabilitation of patients; perform initial assessments and counseling.
• Identify mental health diagnoses and provide patient education.
• Observe, monitor, record, and report patient progress.
• Coordinate with other agencies regarding care and referrals.
• Prepare and maintain treatment records.
