Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
• ACPE-accredited college/university.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Pharmacist.
• One year of professional pharmacy experience after graduation.
• Must be a US Citizen and have authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of pharmacist procedures.
• Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services within the facility's personnel, supply, and equipment capabilities.
• Counsel patients regarding appropriate use of medications.
• Review patient profiles at dispensing to monitor medication therapy.
• Intervene with providers for discrepancies in directions, dose, interactions or allergies.
• Compound medications as required.
• Ensure accuracy of all pharmaceutical products prepared or processed by staff.
• Supervise inventory control of pharmaceuticals and ensure security of controlled substances.
• Develop individualized treatment regimens based on pharmacokinetics and patient factors.
• Oversee preparation of extemporaneous compounds, IV, oral and topical meds.
• Calculate patient-specific dilutions of medications.
