Job summary

MaineHealth's Behavioral Health division seeks a Psychiatric Technician I to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and support patients through individualized treatment plans. You will work with the treatment team to provide care and emotional support and assist with data collection and documentation.

The role requires high school diploma or GED (preferred), CPR/BLS certification within 30 days, CPI/MOAB training within 60 days, and less than six months of psychiatric technician experience.

Qualifications

• Current RQI/BLS/CPR certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start.
• Completion of CPI/MOAB training within 60 days of start.
• Less than six (6) months of experience as a Psychiatric Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and therapeutic setting and implement individualized treatment plans in cooperation with the treatment team by providing care and emotional support to patients and assisting with data collection and documentation.
