Job summary

MaineHealth Accountable Care Organization is seeking a Psychiatric Technician I to maintain a safe, therapeutic setting and support individualized treatment plans with the treatment team. You will provide care and emotional support to patients and help collect and document data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current RQI/BLS/CPR certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start.
• Completion of CPI/MOAB training within 60 days of start.
• Less than six months of experience as a Psychiatric Technician.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and therapeutic setting and support treatment plans.
• Provide care and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with collection and documentation of data in cooperation with the treatment team.
