Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is seeking a Psychiatric Technician Level 1 in Kalamazoo, MI. This onsite role supports patients with mental illness and developmental delays under supervision, focusing on physical and emotional care and active safety and crisis management.

The position offers weekend/holiday work and a strong, compassionate team environment. Responsibilities include environment safety, document progress, assist with personal care, and participate in program planning.

Formación

• Six months post high school education in behavioral sciences or equivalent preferred.
• CNA certification or 1–2 years of college education preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides safe, secure environment for clients and staff in individual and group settings.
• Collaborates in daily planning and development of client programming.
• May assist clients with personal care (bathing, shaving, dressing, etc.).
• Participates in safety management, crisis intervention, de-escalation, and emergency care.
• Documents progress notes, medication administration, and reports concerns per policy.
• Transports clients to outings and appointments; may perform household tasks.
• Assists in teaching clients and family in social, daily living, and coping skills.
• Learns and helps implement treatment plans and goals.

Educación
