Job summary

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Svc is seeking a Psychiatric Technician Level 1 to provide physical and emotional care to clients with mental illness or developmental delays. Work under supervision with a focus on safety, crisis intervention, and collaborative care in a busy behavioral health setting.

The role includes documentation, basic office tasks, training new staff, and supporting a recovery-focused, person-centered environment on-site in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Six months post high school in behavioral sciences or equivalent preferred.
• CNA certification or 1–2 years of college education preferred.
• On-site role with potential weekend/holiday hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, secure environment for clients and staff.
• Participate in safety management, crisis intervention and de‑escalation.
• Document progress notes, medication administration and essential information.
