Job summary

Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation is seeking a Psychiatric Technician for the McCann Treatment Center in Bethel. The role supports 24-hour client care, promotes safety, and participates in therapeutic activities with clients and families.

A sign-on bonus of $4,000 is offered; position requires CPR/First Aid and a valid Alaska driver's license within 90 days of hire. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, ability to document progress, and work in a residential treatment

Qualifications

• CPR, First Aid, and Non-violent Crisis Intervention are required within first 90 days of hire.
• A valid Alaska Driver’s License is required within 90 days of hire.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client care within a 24-hour framework to promote safety and well-being.
• Escort clients within Bethel and outside Bethel as needed.
• Engage clients and families in a therapeutic alliance and participate in activities.
• Write progress reports reflecting client progress and read medication administration records.
