Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of direct patient care experience or equivalent education/certifications.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in crisis, detox, or acute psychiatric settings preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient safety and provide continuous support
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Obtain vital signs, urine drug screens, and perform phlebotomy and specimen collection
• Observe and report changes in patient condition
• Support admissions, discharges, and unit orientation
• Participate in therapeutic activities and structured programming
• Use de-escalation techniques during behavioral crises
• Maintain a clean, safe, trauma-informed environment
• Document care accurately and timely

What You Bring

Required

• High School Diploma or GED

Your Role

As a Psychiatric Technician, you will provide hands‑on support in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity setting at the Bright Path Center, including 3.7 withdrawal management, crisis stabilization, and residential services. Key responsibilities include:

• Monitor patient safety and provide continuous support
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Obtain vital signs, urine drug screens, and perform phlebotomy and specimen collection
• Observe and report changes in patient condition
• Support admissions, discharges, and unit orientation
• Participate in therapeutic activities and structured programming
• Use de‑escalation techniques during behavioral crises
• Maintain a clean, safe, trauma‑informed environment
• Document care accurately and timely
