Job summary

Qualifications

• 6 months training or direct experience in the mental health or related human services field.
• CPR at hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient and environmental safety; report concerns to Charge nurse.
• Provide patient care and assist with ADLs such as hygiene, toileting, bathing, transferring, and eating; document care.
• Communicate effectively with adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Assist with admissions and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and follow policies.
• Participate in process improvement and contribute to team decisions.
