Responsibilities

• Participates in admission to psychiatric unit and completes nursing/medical checklists.
• Assists with daily living activities and patient care tasks.
• Documents patient information and reports changes to nursing staff.
• Delivers educational groups to unit patients.
• Maintains professional boundaries with patients and staff.
• May assist in application of restraints under RN direction.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings to maintain competencies.
